This painting holds the energy of one of my spirit guides that helps me to have more fun and remember to invite joy and laughter to my day

Spirit guides like to show up to us depending on what is happening in our energetic field and surroundings 

Think back to when you were a kid and had many stuffed animals, figurines, dolls and toys that you made up stories and scenes with

In disguise, they were your spirit team. Your creative wonders were very open and it was easy to connect with things outside of our selfs

As an adult, this openness gets closed off because of different stresses, trauma and challenges that come up 

Here are some key tips on how to reconnect with a spirit guide:

🐳 Think of an animal that first comes to mind. Start with watching a movie with this animal, go to a spot in nature where this animal lives, or read a book if it’s a mystical creature

Once you are doing one of these, you may notice a shift on energy, a serendipitous encounter, or a message within the book or movie that gets you out of a funk 

These are instances that a spirit guide is present and helping you return to more presence with yourself 

🌠 Go stargaze. This is my favorite one on connecting with a spirit guide. Look up to one star and see what feelings come up or ideas. Then let your eyes find shapes and constellations that expand your sense of self

✈️ Go travel to a new country or city. Sometimes we get accustomed to the energy around us and switching locations helps experiences new spirit guides in that area 

🐌 Switch up your tempo. If you are more hyperactive, take a meditation class or yin yoga, do gardening work or a hands on activity like painting or pottery. If you are more introverted, go volunteer, go on a roller coaster or high adrenaline activity, do something new that you’ve been craving but too shy to try 

💛 Go after your dreams, the more you open yourself to what you truly want and desire, you will encounter exactly who you need in the most unexplainable ways

The more trust I’ve let in to my life, the more I realized I’ve been supported and cheered on by my spirit team
